From Xiao Jiang, a bracing new female voice in Chinese cinema, comes an ode to love (and love of movies) that has been compared to Cinema Paradiso. Spanning the decades between the Cultural Revolution and the present, the film follows two childhood friends, both movie lovers, who rediscover each other years later.
