The Ancestral Pueblo strap has the same diamond design pattern as the Mohave strap shown above, but the Mohave strap was woven 800 years later. Both straps also were made using a non-loom weaving technique called interlacing. These two straps demonstrate the persistence of such patterns and techniques in the North American Southwest.
