Blanket, Pima. Collected by Georgia Stout in Arizona and donated by her to the Smithsonian Institution in 1877. Department of Anthropology, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, cat. no. E027828, acc. no. 77A00050.

Dimensions: 80 in. (warp) x 62 in. (weft).

Technique: Plain weave with small corner ties.

Thread count: Warp = 15/in.; Weft = 12/in.

Fibers: Warp = 1-ply natural white cotton yarn, Z-spin. Weft = 1-ply natural white cotton yarn, Z-spin.

Design: Heavy white cotton blanket with a framing line in light red cotton yarn. Some staining.

Comments: Some staining.
