Dimensions: 48 in. (warp) x 32 in. (weft).

Technique: Plain tapestry weave.

Thread count: Warp = 10/in.; Warp = 32/in. (handspun), 40/in. (3-ply).

Fibers: Warp = 1-ply handspun wool yarn, natural dark brown, Z-spin. Weft = 1-ply handspun wool yarn, natural brown, Z-spin; 3-ply commercial wool yarn, synthetic-dyed yellow and green, and cochineal-dyed red, Z-spin, S-twist. Selvage = end selvages are 2-cord, 3-ply handspun wool yarn, indigo-dyed blue, Z-spin, S-twist; side selvages are 2-cord, 3-ply commercial wool yarn, synthetic-dyed red and green, S-spin, Z-twist. Corners = selvage ends (top and bottom) are knotted separately and augmented with large tassels of synthetic-dyed yellow, red, and green 3-ply commercial wool yarn.

Design: End and center zones have three red stripes with green centers separated by yellow stripes. Outer mid-center zones have yellow stripes with narrow red centers separated by green stripes. The outer mid-center zone has yellow with green center separated by red stripe. The inner mid-center zone has a central red stripe with yellow center separated by green stripes from parallel yellow stripes with red centers. All zones are separated by solid brown stripes.
