The lessons help educators and students better understand the life of rainforests and what is at stake if they are destroyed. Background information details the characteristics of the different layers of the rainforest, as well as the life of plant and animal species that call the rainforest home.
The lesson plans allow students to imaginatively experience the rainforest in the classroom. They present a “rainforest show,” complete with three-dimensional displays and creative-writing pieces.
