Imatake Shichiro,
"March 1st to the 31st: National Bond Campaign for Reconstruction.
The Sumitomo Bank Is Being Renamed the Osaka Bank," 1946.
Offset print, 70 x 52 cm.
A year after his first postwar poster, the Sumitomo Bank
again commissioned Imatake. Here his stylized folk-motif design promotes
a reconstruction bond campaign while simultaneously announcing the renaming
of the bank.
