Ocean Planet, a traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian
Institution promoting the celebration, understanding, and conservation of
the world's oceans, premiered at the National Museum of Natural History
in April 1995. The exhibition marks the culmination of a four-year study
of environmental issues that affect the health of the world's oceans.
The Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service has scheduled the
exhibition to tour through the U.S. cities listed below.
